Don Cheadle reacts to his Emmy nomination
The nominations for the 73rd Emmy Awards were revealed this morning, and there was plenty of love for genre fare this time around, with shows like The Boys, The Mandalorian, and WandaVision scoring plenty of nominations. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier also snagged a handful of noms (not anywhere close to WandaVision‘s whopping 23 nominations), but one had people scratching their heads, including the recipient himself.

Don Cheadle reprised his role of Colonel James Rupert “Rhodey” Rhodes for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and although he did share a pivotal conversation with Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson about becoming Captain America, he was on screen for less than two minutes. Despite this, Cheadle still earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama. The actor reacted to the news on Twitter, saying that he doesn’t really get it either.
