See Zoe Kravitz Don Updated Catwoman Suit For Robert Pattinson’s Batman
Less than eight months away…
Zoe Kravitz dons an updated Catwoman suit for Robert Pattinson’s The Batman in this concept design.
Matt Reeves’ upcoming DC Comics film The Batman is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated projects from comic book fans right now. The upcoming new take on the Dark Knight will star Robert Pattinson in the titular role, with an exciting supporting cast surrounding him. One of those exciting additions to The Batman is Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman.
During DC Fandome last year, Matt Reeves revealed that while Robert Pattinson’s The Batman is set in Year Two of the Caped Crusader’s career, the film will serve as an origin story for some of the Rogues Gallery of villains. In particular, Zoe Kravitz’s Selina Kyle isn’t the recognizable Catwoman fans know and love yet, and the glimpses we received of her in the one trailer tease a more sleek and minimalistic design compared to previous iterations. That’s not to say that it couldn’t change down the line.
With that in mind, this concept design from artist Evan Pennock depicts Zoe Kravitz’s Selina Kyle in an updated Catwoman suit. The design opts for a functional armored look compared to the traditional leather we’ve seen in the past:
Do you like the small tease we received in the trailer? Do you want to see Zoe Kravitz don a Catwoman suit more like this concept design? Sound off in the comments below.
The plot of The Batman is being kept under wraps, but we know the film will follow Robert Pattinson as a younger version of Bruce Wayne, chronicling Batman during his second year as the Dark Knight of Gotham City. The film will also show off the hero using his skills as a detective more than what we’ve seen before in previous versions of the hero. It is also expected to be the first installment in a new trilogy of films with Pattinson.
Directed by Matt Reeves, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as the titular hero, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.
The Batman is currently scheduled to hit theaters on March 4, 2022. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding Zoe Kravitz’s Catwoman and the highly-anticipated film, and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more video content.
