‘Loki’ Credits May Have Just Revealed Who The Real Villain Is
The credits for the second episode of Loki may have just given audiences a hint towards who the real villain is.
THE FOLLOWING CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS FOR LOKI.
With just two episodes under its belt, the Disney Plus series has solidified itself as one of the most exciting shows that Disney Plus has produced. As the first episode came to a close, audiences realize that villain of the show is none other than a deviant Loki, meaning Tom Hiddleston’s character is essentially chasing himself. Well, the second episode ended on a reveal that suggested that the deviant was none other than Lady Loki.
While not explicitly mentioned by name, Sophia Di Martino’s character is seen in a guise similar to Loki’s, and we know through the TVA that the villain is a version of Loki. However, the Castillian credits for the series state that the name of the character is Sylvie. This “Sylvie” could potentially be Sylvia Lushton, a character in the comics who received powers from Loki. Sylvie originally wanted to join the Young Avengers but she wasn’t much of a match and eventually went on to become a supervillain. At its core, her story is tragic as she was merely created as a pawn for Loki. The Disney Plus series is doing a great job so far of showing Loki coming to terms with his actions, so it’s entirely possible that he (or a deviant of his) may have given Sylvie powers and he’ll have to face up to it.
