Latest Episode Of ‘Loki’ Has Some Major Marvel Easter Eggs

The fifth episode of Loki features some of the most exciting and major Marvel easter eggs ever put on screen.

Major spoilers ahead for Marvel’s Loki.

Marvel Studios’ Loki has proven itself to be one of the most inventive shows in the MCU. From its time-traveling, dimension-jumping storyline, to its explosive set design, the show has set itself apart from the so-called “Marvel formula”. The fourth episode of the show ended with Loki ending up in some sort of purgatory where all Variants and artifacts are sent. While the fourth episode was praised for its numerous callbacks, the fifth episode has thrown out of the park with callbacks and easter eggs that’ll have even the most hardcore Marvel fans spinning their heads.

The Loki easter eggs range from downright hilarious to full-on captivating, giving us further insight into some of the Marvel universe’s most interesting relics and artifacts. None of them are groundbreaking but they serve their purpose in reminding viewers just how big the Marvel universe can be. First up, we have the Thanos Copter, a hilarious vehicle used by Thanos during his early days in the comics. The helicopter is seen crashed.

We also see Nathaniel Richards’ company Qeng Enterprises. In case you didn’t know who that is, that’s Kang the Conqueror, who has long been rumored to star in the Marvel series. It’s uncertain if he’ll make an appearance in the next episode, but his official debut is set to be in next year’s Ant-Man 3.

There’s also a sad but still chuckle-worthy appearance of Throg – a Thor that was turned into a Frog by Loki. Oh, and there’s also a look at the Living Tribunal.

And to round off the many easter eggs seen in Loki, we have a look at Ronan’s spaceship.
