Blake Shelton Gushes Over Fiancee Gwen Stefani And Says Collabing With Her Still Makes Him Feel Like ‘A Kid On Christmas Morning’

The country crooner gushed over his fiancee, Gwen Stefani , while discussing their work together, even calling the fellow singer an ‘icon!’ Check out what other sweet things Blake Shelton had to say about his significant other!

The two have been a couple of the past five years but their relationship still feels like it’s just starting, mainly because, after all this time, Blake still can’t believe he’s with Gwen sometimes.

That is especially the case, it turns out, when Blake and Gwen collab on new music.

During an interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music 1, Blake raved about working together on their Happy Anywhere duet last year.

He recalled ‘texting the writers, taking videos like, ‘Oh my God, you are going to s**t when you see Gwen Stefani’s singing your song right now.’ You know what I mean? And they were freaking out.’

He went on to say that ‘when we get into work mode, I know it should be super emotional and personal, but I am still in blown away fan shocked mode when I work with her.’

As you might know, Gwen sometimes surprises Blake’s audience at concerts by appearing unexpectedly on stage and Blake said that he loves to see their reactions.

‘There’s been times where she comes out on stage, we will have a plan if she is at one of my concerts and we always try to keep it on the low. And then we will start ‘Nobody But You’ or ‘Go Ahead And Break My Heart’, and I’ll be singing it, and I am dying from the time I walk out on stage until that moment hits, because I know on that set list people are going to s**t in their seats when Gwen Stefani walks out here. It’s like I am a kid on Christmas morning. And so that is what it’s like for me working with her. It’s just exciting, it really is,’ Blake gushed. So sweet!
