The Suicide Squad will crossover with Wipeout for special episode
Wipeout is a game show in which contestants must run, leap, and slide through a series of slippery obstacle courses without plunging into the water below, but much like the members of THE SUICIDE SQUAD, not everyone makes it through Wipeout. The game show is hosted by Nicole Byer and John Cena, which sets the stage for a perfect, albeit still strange, crossover event.
TBS announced that a very special episode of Wipeout will debut next month, which will feature appearances from John Cena’s fellow Suicide Squad stars, Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag), Nathan Fillion (T.D.K.), and Daniela Melchoir (Ratcatcher II). Not only that, but The Suicide Squad writer/director James Gunn will also appear, seemingly to take back the Peacemaker costume that Cena stole from the set. He does love wearing it. Wipeout: The Suicide Squad Special will debut on TBS on August 1, 2021.

The official synopsis for The Suicide Squad:
Welcome to hell — a.k.a. Belle Reve, the prison with the highest mortality rate in the US of A. Where the worst Super-Villains are kept and where they will do anything to get out—even join the super-secret, super-shady Task Force X. Today’s do-or-die assignment? Assemble a collection of cons, including Bloodsport, Peacemaker, Captain Boomerang, Ratcatcher 2, Savant, King Shark, Blackguard, Javelin and everyone’s favorite psycho, Harley Quinn. Then arm them heavily and drop them (literally) on the remote, enemy-infused island of Corto Maltese.
The Suicide Squad will hit theaters and HBO Max on August 6, 2021, with the Peacemaker TV seres debuting on HBO Max in January 2022.
