Nikki And Brie Bella Open Up About Their Fitness Almost A Year After Giving Birth!

Nikki and Brie Bella are used to keeping their fitness in check since they are WWE stars. That being said, after the twins gave birth to sons almost at the same time, they went back to working out and have already managed to get back in shape!

During a new interview for HollywoodLife, Brie and Nikki opened up about shedding the pregnancy weight but also admitted that their bodies, almost a year after giving birth, are not the same as before.

‘We are definitely super in touch with our bodies. It feels different. I think that my core shocks me the most. Doing ab exercises feels very different even flexing and just being sore there does too! It has been one of the biggest shocks to me so far,’ Nikki shared with the news outlet.

As fans know, the sisters’ sons are about to celebrate their very first birthdays in July!

Brie also told the site the same thing, sharing that ‘I think too, the tiredness just makes your workouts different and I actually had to learn to adapt to the new needs of my body. In some days I can go hard at lifting but other days my body needs just cardio. [When I was able to work out again,] I started off with power walking ’cause it wakes up my body and mind. It reminds me of how much I love to move and to sweat, and then I start to really crave harder workouts. I really allowed myself to slowly get back into it, and now I am dead lifting the heaviest I have ever done.’

Sure enough, Nikki agrees with the same approach as she recommended that other new moms also take it slow, ‘day by day,’ gradually increasing the difficulty of their exercises as time goes by.

In fact, she made it clear that if they’re tired, it’s great to take some ‘baby naps’ whenever they are needed.
