New Look At Kilowog Design

A brand new look at Kilowog from Zack Snyder’s Justice League has been released.

One of the many exciting moments in Zack Snyder’s Justice League came when the Green Lanterns occupied the screen. Though their screentime was relatively short, their brief appearances were met with applause. The film introduces two Green Lanterns: Yalan Gur and Kilowog, who both died in their respective scenes. Yalan Gur is seen on Earth, joining the Atlanteans, Earthlings, and Amazonians in defeating Darkseid. Yalan Gur is unfortunately slain, with Darkseid almost grabbing his Green Lantern ring. During Cyborg’s Knightmare vision, Kiliwog’s lifeless body is seen in the rubble as Superman reigns supreme.

While the Green Lanterns didn’t get the best sort of treatment and screentime in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, fans are hoping to see them return, especially the iconic Kilowog. Jerad S. Marantz, a concept artist, shared an early look at Kilowog’s design, showing the iconic Green Lantern from all angles. In the caption, the concept artist mentions how he hopes to see Kilowog “in action” in the near future.

Here is the synopsis for Zack Snyder’s Justice League:

“In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.”

The Snyder Cut stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, JK Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
